“Earth Hum” is dedicated to Rachel Martin’s Family Tree, a drawing that combines art, earth, and love all into one. In a conversation with Martin, we learn a little bit more about her art told through her own voice and drawings as well as the ethereal presence of friends and old Super 8 footage. Like Martin says, in art, you see that there are magical things happening but it is really very human.
Commissioned music video for Emma Bowers song Southeast.
“holding hands with the moon” is a celebration of a not-so-common-coming-of-age inspired by isolation during the pandemic and the consequential anxiety that came with it. Terra is not only learning to live with her anxiety, but also appreciating all of the little things in life that bring her immense joy and her unwavering (and borderline obsessive) love for the moon. Through it all though, magic is never too far away from Terra’s familiar life.
"it's in the cards, fatherhood" is a video portrait of my dad and I's father-daughter relationship. It is a time capsule that was created together over long after-lunch conversations with coffee and a lot of love while quarantining in 2020 when I was 17.
"Peach People" is a visual love letter to my best friends shot on camcorder, Super 8, and Blackmagic. It stars sweet Serena, Anya, and Tara and connects my homes in Tucson and New York together through their friendship.
